Viacheslav Kushnir

Viacheslav graduated from Southern Federal University (Rostov-on-Don, Russia) in 2009, did his CELTA course in 2012 and completed his Cambridge Delta course in 2014. He was trained, externally assessed and approved as a Cambridge CELTA Tutor in January 2015 and since then he has run seven CELTA courses in the roles of both Assistant Course Tutor and Main Course Tutor. Viacheslav has substantial and varied teaching experience (more than eight years in total). He has taught different levels (A1-C2) in various contexts (private language schools, universities, engineering and IT companies) and is particularly interested in teaching ESP, assessment, exam preparation and developing learners’ reading skills.

Viacheslav worked as a Director of Studies in one of the regional offices of an international language school chain and had been involved in both pre- and in-service teacher training for more than 4 years. His proficiency in English is confirmed by such certificates as CAE (A) and CPE (A). Viacheslav is also an approved assessor for a number of international language exams.


Irina Grekova

Irina has worked in Teacher Training since 2005, running a multitude of various courses in a number of contexts around Russia and the world. She did an MA in TESOL at Wollongong University in 2010 and after running over 20 intensive CELTA courses, she became a CELTA assessor. She keeps on developing new programmes and therefore, reads a lot of methodology literature to be up to date with the latest ideas in TEFL. Her present professional interests include using technology in the lesson and developing learner autonomy.


Rufus Vaughan-Spruce, MA TESOL, DELTA

Originally from London, Rufus has worked in the EFL industry for nearly 20 years, as a teacher, Director of Studies, Academic Manager and Teacher Trainer. Over this period he has taught and trained in a range of countries and environments including Russia, the UK, Europe, the Middle East, South America and Asia. For the past 4 years Rufus has been working as a CELTA Cambridge Trainer across Russia and elsewhere in Turkey, South Africa and Kazakhstan.


Elena Wilkinson

Elena has been teaching English (to children, General English and Business English) for over 10 years. Elena holds an MA in TESOL from Concordia University, USA. She is also a Cambridge certified CELTA trainer and enjoys sharing her experience in teaching English in the USA and Russia with others.




Vlad Pavlov

Vlad holds a PhD in Teaching English as a second language from the University of Calgary (Canada) and a Master's Degree in Language Education from the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia. Vlad has been an instructor in a number of institutions in Canada, the USA and Russia, teaching ESL/EFL, Russian for foreigners, and courses for second language pedagogy. His professional interests include language teaching methodology, language proficiency assessment and teaching exam preparation classes.
